Designed by German Constantin Wortmann and created in mirror-polished stainless steel, the egg cups are as practical as they are beautiful: the raised edge of the rim makes them easy to carry and the wide saucer shape can be used to hold the broken eggshells whilst you eat the contents.
About the designer:
Constantin Wortmann studied design in Munich. After graduating, he worked as an intern and freelance designer for Ingo Mauer. In 1998 he founded the company Büro für Form. The company works in the fields of interior, furniture, industrial and lighting design. The common thread of his designs is the perfect mix of organic shapes and geometric elements, sometimes with a bit of humour, playing with the viewer's perception. "A product needs more than just perfect function and ergonomics, a product needs some poetry!
