PATATAS BRAVAS WITH CHIPOTLE CHILI SPHERES

INGREDIENTS

For the Patatas Bravas:

  • 1 kg of potatoes (whichever type you prefer for frying).
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

For the Salsa Brava:

  • 6 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 medium red bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika or sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Patatas Bravas:

  • Cut the potatoes into cubes or wedges and fry them in olive oil until golden brown and crispy.
  • Drain and salt them to taste.

Salsa Brava:

  • Prepare the ingredients: Chop the tomatoes, garlic, onion and bell pepper.
  • Cook the sauce: In a pan with olive oil, sauté the onion and garlic. Add the tomatoes, bell bell pepper, and chili.
  • Add spices: Add the paprika, a touch of vinegar, a little sugar and salt. Cook over low heat until the ingredients are well integrated and the sauce thickens.
  • Mash: Once cooked, mash the sauce until a smooth texture is obtained.
  • Serve and add the chipotle chili spheres to give a spicy touch to your potatoes.
